Something happens at your property–a tree falls, an animal climbs a fence, or an intruder makes an approach–and you get an instant notification from your Tactacam DEFEND Camera. But how exactly does this happen?

DEFEND wireless cellular security cameras have simplified the complex process of getting a motion activated image from your camera to your phone, and also the process of the user requesting an HD image or video back from the camera.

Here is how it works:

The DEFEND Camera’s motion detection system detects movement in its field of view and, depending on the setting, snaps a photo or captures a video.
That image or video is saved to the camera’s local storage, then sent immediately through a cellular signal to your phone.
When the image or video arrives, you get a push notification that activity has been recorded and a photo or video is ready to watch in your Tactacam DEFEND app.
If you want to investigate the matter further, you can then request an on-demand HD image or video, which sets off a reverse chain of requests and fulfillment–your phone sends a message using a cellular network that is sent to your camera, and the on-demand image or video is retrieved and sent back to your phone.

The DEFEND Camera is well-known for its durability, range of features, and affordable price. Learn more about the camera here.
